Cost: About $5

Ingredients:
6 medium size ripe tomatoes
1 medium size yellow pepper
1 medium size orange pepper
1 half of a white onion
1 half of a red onion
2 jalapeno peppers
1/8 cup pineapple juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup of cilantro
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Steps:
Dice tomatoes, peppers, and onions into your salsa bowl -mix together.
Add garlic, juices, salt and pepper.
Finely chop cilantro and mix all of your ingredients well.
Cover your salsa and put in your fridge!

You can eat your salsa right away, but it's better to wait at least overnight for all of the flavors to mesh together! Thank you to my boyfriend, David, for the recipe! :)

Cheap, Easy, Fabric Refresher! posted at 4:16 AM

This is an easy mixture to capture and neutralize odor on furniture, carpet, pillows and any kind of fabric around your home. I live with lots of "interesting" smells thanks to multiple pets! This mixture neutralized all the funkiness! The smell the spray left behind wasn't overpowering and masking the odor,it was just a subtle, calming scent. It worked great! Cost: You should have all or most of these items already around the house! Supplies: Empty spray bottle (I cleaned out an empty travel-sized bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release that I had laying around), Fabric Softer (I used Snuggle Wild Orchid & Vanilla Kisses), HOT tap water, Rubbing Alcohol, Baking Powder.
Steps: Pour 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon rubbing alcohol into your empty spray bottle. Judging by the size of your bottle, fill 1/4 of the bottle with fabric softener. Fill the rest of the bottle with HOT tap water. Put the lid back on the bottle, shake, and spray!

"Organizer Wall" Tutorial posted at 8:50 PM

Time: 30 minutes
Cost: About $6
Supplies: (4) Nails, (2) 5 x 7 Picture Frames, (2) 11 x 14 Picture Frames, (1) "Magic Hook"
(1) Wet (or dry) Erase Marker, and a background for your fames (I used plain newsprint).

I nailed the four frames right onto the wall. You can add whatever you need to the wall where your organizer is set up! I used a "Magic Hook" I found at the dollar store (also where I bought all of my frames) for all of my keys! I used a wet erase marker (you can find at an office supply store). This is my first tutorial, so I'd appreciate any comments!

I got the idea for this here: www.girllovesglam.blogspot.com
